What is the base-registration Psychodiagnostics (BAPD)?
The BasisAantekening Psychodiagnostiek (BAPD) is a certificate from the Dutch Instute for Psychologists (NIP) to certify that holders of a Master's degree in Psychology posess sufficient knowledge and skills in psychodiagnostics when they enter the labour market. This is an additional certificate that you can obtain, with additional requirements. See 'BAPD in detail' >> or https://www.psynip.nl/registraties/basisaantekening-psychodiagnostiek-bapd/.What is the LOGO GZ (Healthcare Requirement) certificate ?
The LOGO GZ-certificate proves that you have the background and skills to apply for a spot in a Dutch healthcare psychology programme (Gezondheidspsycholoog aka GZ-psycholoog). The requirements are more extensive than those of the BAPD. Besides more required courses, it includes treatment-related activities within your clinical internship. The internship should be at least 520 hours. Minimally 20% of the time should be spend on diagnostics and care needs assessment, and 80% on treatment. Or minimally 20% of the time should be spend on treatment, and then 80% on diagnostics and care needs assessment. Part of the activities can be passive (attending/watching); however this cannot be more than 40% of the time. At least 60% of the time candidates should actively participate in clinical activities.Who is eligable for the BAPD and/or GZ-certificate?
If the clinical internship is offered in your programme, you might opt for the BAPD and/or GZ-certificate as part of this internship.Note that the theoretical criteria of the BAPD and GZ-options are covered in part by the FPN Bachelor in Psychology programme. If you hold a different Bachelor diploma (for example the UM Bachelor Gezondheidswetenschappen richting GGZ, or a Bachelor in Psychology at another university), always contact us first before applying.
